Leaving Norway

I have left Norway, if you ever leave Norway you'll find the information here to be of use.  If not, keep this page handy because you might need it anyway.

Moving Checklist

1. Notify the tax office of your move.  This should update the addresses of every other institution as well but you might want to double check that.
2. Do not close your bank account, if you do you will not be able to get your tax money back which you will definitely want.
3. Get a removalist (if required) to move your stuff out of Norway.  To save money ship your stuff via group cargo and pack things yourself.
4. Book your return flight out of the country.  I strongly advise doing this a few months in advance, last minute tickets are usually a rip off.
5. Get your rental deposit back!
6. Leave Norway :)
